Elevated strain relief through new design

With the development of the MARATHON we present to you a cable gland with especially high strain relief. Profit from our long-standing expertise in the twin-shot production technique. Our engineers have used their know-how to develop an entirely new and smart design.

The MARATHON separates the sealing and the strain relief function. The base is a clamping cage made of a soft and a hard polyamide component: In the lower part a TPE fulfills the sealing function permanent and effectively. Eight rounded claws enable an especially high strain relief according to category B (EN 62444).

High strain relief: Eight rounded claws provide elevated strain relief compared to standard cable glands. The strain relief of 20 kg for the M 20 cable gland complies with the category B according to EN 62444.
Space-saving: The MARATHON in M 20 is very space saving with a key width of only 22 mm and a clamping range from 6 to 13 mm.
Cable-friendly:The soft polyamide component covers the cable tightly but softly. The claws are rounded so that no damage or harm is done to the cables.
Permanently sealed by smart new design: The soft component embraces the cable ever form-fitted even under temperature fluctuations that entail diameter and format changes of the cable.
